David Bernstein
Vice President/GM, Cisco Systems, Inc.
David Bernstein is VP/GM of Cloud Computing in Cisco’s Office of the CTO. His team runs Cisco’s Cloud Lab, is responsible for Cisco’s Cloud Gateway products, and heads development for Cisco’s Cloud Security, Interoperability and Standards initiatives. David’s experience includes executive positions in AT&T, Siebel Systems, Pluris, and Santa Cruz Operation. Jim Davis
CIO, UCLA
Jim Davis is the Associate Vice Chancellor Information Technology & CIO and a Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at UCLA. In his Associate Vice Chancellor position, Jim has broad responsibility for university-wide technology planning and implementation oversight. He both facilitates the campus IT planning, policy setting, prioritization and decision-making processes and coordinates IT deployment campus wide.

Jim is also responsible for UCLA’s involvement in IT initiatives within the University of California system. Jim is a member of UC’s Information Technology Leadership Council, the council of CIOs from the campuses, government labs and medical centers. Additionally, Jim is Chair of the Board of Directors of CENIC (Corporation for Education Network Initiatives in California), the non-profit corporation responsible for network connectivity and services to all higher education and K-12 institutions in the state.


Allen Fazio

Allen Fazio is the Vice President and Chief Information Officer for the Disneyland Resort.

Allen oversees a team responsible for the development and integration of information systems supporting the entire Resort’s operations, including Disneyland, Disney’s California Adventure and Downtown Disney. He is also responsible for Information Technology (IT) strategy and business relationship management at Walt Disney Imagineering, as well as leveraging synergy across Disney’s international theme parks located in Paris, Tokyo and Hong Kong.

Since joining the Disneyland Resort in January 2005, Allen has pushed for more integrated IT synergy, with a focus on innovation and agility, while providing full support for the numerous activities during the 18-month celebration of Disneyland’s 50th Anniversary.

As a 15-year veteran of the Walt Disney Company, Allen most recently served as Director, Information Technology for Disney Cruise Line where he managed IT plans and resources to meet the strategic needs of the successful growing business. He started his career at Disney in Management Audit before moving to Walt Disney World IT where he gained ample experience in audit, logistic systems and e-commerce solutions while collaborating with the retail, contract, management distribution and food & beverage departments. Prior to Disney, Allen was a CPA and also a Computer Audit Supervisor at Coopers & Lybrand.

A native of Michigan, Allen is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and received his MBA from Webster University. In 2005, he was named as a board member for the CHOC Foundation for Children in Orange, California. Allen resides in Orange County with his wife Sheryl and three children.

Emmanuel Frenehard is the Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Walt Disney International.

Rajit Gadh

Dr. Rajit Gadh is a Professor at the Henry Samueli School of Engineering and Applied Science at UCLA where he heads the Wireless Internet for Mobile Enterprise Consortium (http://winmec.ucla.edu) of which major companies including Intel, HP, Sun, Siemens, Oracle, Computer Associates, Northrop Grumman, Hughes Network Systems, Qualcomm, TCS, Satyam, ISMB-Italy and several others are supporting members. Dr. Gadh works in the areas of Mobile/Wireless Internet, multimedia/graphics, RFID-middleware, RFID-sensor interface definitions, wireless enterprise security, multi-media content distribution over the internet, and multi-media over UWB, within the Wireless Media Lab (http://wireless.ucla.edu/wml). He has over 100 papers in journals, conferences and technical magazines.

Keith Glennan

Previously, Mr. Glennan served as chief information officer for Northrop Grumman’s Information Technology sector. Northrop Grumman Information Technology, headquartered in McLean, Va., is a trusted IT leader and premier provider of advanced IT solutions, engineering and business services for government and commercial clients. Alex Grimwade

Alex Grimwade joined Twentieth Century Fox Television as head of IT in 2005, overseeing corporate technology for television production and operations, License and Merchandising, and Fox Mobile. Prior to joining TCFTV, Alex worked for Fox Filmed Entertainment, Fox Entertainment Group, and consulted for Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution. Vivek Khuller

Vivek Khuller is the CEO and founder of DiVitas Networks. Prior to founding DiVitas, Vivek held the position of Venture Partner at Clearstone Venture Partners, where he incubated DiVitas. Vivek also was Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Matrix Partners. Before Matrix, he worked at Sycamore Networks in business development, leading strategic sales for the tier-1 carrier market and managing software business development worth several million dollars. Vivek worked at Verizon Communications in various roles, including Manager of the Internet Center of Excellence as well as in Network Systems Engineering. At Verizon, Vivek received the Spirit of Excellence Chairman’s award – the company’s highest honor – in recognition of his technical leadership. Allen Marks
Senior IT Architect, Raytheon
Allen is a Member of Raytheon Space and Airborne (SAS) Systems IT Engineering Services. Allen manages Emerging Technologies, and is a Raytheon IT Fellow. Allen has been with Raytheon (and Hughes) since 1976. Allen earned his BS in Physics in 1974, and as a Hughes Fellow received his Masters in Physics in 1981; both from UCLA. In 1983 Allen joined the VLSI/Corporate CAD program. In 1989 Allen joined Hughes Space & Communications where he managed the development of Satellite Operations. From 1992 until December 1997, Allen managed Support Services (Facilities, CM/DM, Procurement and IT) for Ground Satellite Operations.

In December of 1997, Allen joined Hughes Corporate IT, where he was the System Engineer and Technical Lead of IT Infrastructure Projects. After Hughes merged with Raytheon, Allen became a member of Raytheon Corporate IT as the Project Manager, Architect, and Champion for Collaboration tools.

Current duties in SAS IT Engineering Services include: Innovation, Emerging Technology, Enterprise Architecture, and Strategic Planning. Allen is a member of several Raytheon Enterprise teams including Architecture, Standards, Collaboration and Emerging Technology.

Allen also provides IT leadership and support to several non-profit organizations, including the Raytheon Management Club Board, BSA, YMCA and several LAUSD schools. Since 2004 Allen has been a contributor and advisor to the Wireless Internet for Mobile Enterprise Consortium (WINMEC) at UCLA; and to Frost and Sullivan’s Mobile and Wireless Enterprise conference.

Doug McGowan

Doug has 25+ years of product development experience. He spent 24 years at Hewlett-Packard where he held a series of engineering, engineering management, and general management positions Doug led the creation of HP’s Cooltown experience centers around the world. These centers brought HP’s vision of the future of the internet to life. Doug founded HP VerSecure a security solution that enabled the export of strong encryption. He was the General Manager of HP’s Innovation Centers & Mobile Professional solutions Organizations where he led HP’s team responsible for en-to-end solutions for enterprise mobility. Doug has also held the positions of COO for IT Global Solutions, a wireless internet service company, and President of Suitelinq, a company providing in-room technology solutions to the hospitality industry. Doug holds a MS in Computer Science from the University of California- Berkeley and a BS from the University of Michigan.

Art Mena
Associate Technical Fellow, Boeing Information Technology
Art Mena is an Associate Technical Fellow with Boeing Information Technology. Art began his career at Rockwell International's Space Systems Division in Downey, CA working in the area of computer simulation and analysis of the Space Shuttle Orbiter aerodynamics and flight tests. His computing expertise led him to create Rockwell’s first PC support group which he managed for several years. Art has lead numerous Information Technology projects for NASA and in 1994 created the first Web based engineering drawing management system called the Shuttle Drawing System. In 1995 the Shuttle Drawing System was honored by CIO magazine with its Enterprise Value Award. The system is still the standard for NASA’s space shuttle program today. In later years Art was responsible for the web infrastructure at Hughes Space and Communications in El Segundo. Over his career Art has been involved in numerous cutting edge technology projects involving distributed computing and network connectivity. Today Art is responsible for computing systems infrastructure architecture at Boeing.

Art received a BS in Aerospace Engineering from St Louis University, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach and an MS in Computer Science from USC. Art has received the NASA's Manned Space Flight Awareness award and NASA's Silver Snoopy for his work on the Space Shuttle program. He is a member of the IEEE, and twice a year teaches a class in Network Communications for UCLA Extension.

Art enjoys computers and electronics, photography, history, railroads as well as hiking and jogging.

Andy Mulholland joined Capgemini in 1996 with thirteen years of experience in senior IT roles. An early pioneer in PC/Network technology, Andy’s focus on Information Technology, as opposed to traditional Computing, brought him international recognition for Internet based technology. He has published five white papers, in the last six years, proposed Technology Architectural models, three of which have become the norm throughout the Technology industry, including the concept of ‘Adaptive IT’.

In 2006, Andy drew on his wealth of knowledge of Web 2.0 and Service Oriented Architecture Technologies and co-authored the globally recognized book ‘Mashup Corporations’. The praise for ‘Mashup Corporations’ presentation of new concepts led Andy to co-author a sequel, in 2008, called ‘Mesh Collaboration.’ His latest book describes how companies can merge niche business models with the mass-market enterprise business model.

Andy’s role of Global Chief Technology Officer includes advising the Capgemini Group management board on all aspects of technology-driven market changes. Andy serves on the technology advisory boards of several organisations and enterprises, including Cal IT, (the Californian State Technology Board), and has been, or is, a director of various Industry boards including the Open Mobile Alliance, and the MIT Supply Chain Group, both working on approaches and standards for aspects of the Mobility and Sensors market. He is also a Fellow of the British Computer Society and a Director of the Open Group, the main forum for introducing ‘Services’ based business approaches.

He is particularly knowledgeable on the alignment of IT technology to serve business objectives with emphasis on improving the communication and use of information in business processes. Currently this expertise is of great value in defining Web Services and IT Governance models, two areas requiring hybrid business and technology understanding. He has worked in all major industry sectors on strategic initiatives to deliver business advantage from Technology. Andy coined the name ‘Techno Business’ to describe the new forms of technology generated Business formats, such as e-Bay.

An experienced senior executive with strong skills in the strategic, tactical, and management aspects of technology, he has been the founder, or co-founder, of four technology companies that have either been acquired by leading multinational technology companies, or gone public on the small capital NASDAQ.

Chuck Parker is president of Technicolor’s Digital Content Delivery (TDCD) division.

TDCD is a newly formed division within Technicolor that offers custom and bundled content services including content acquisition, management, versioning/preparation, and distribution in a secure digital environment. This division delivers broadcast services for 225 TV channels (studio and news production services, scheduling, playout, disaster recovery), media services for many major content providers (mastering, international versioning, DVD and Blu-ray disc authoring, restoration services, duplication, digital content ingestion and distribution for TV stations, hotels, airlines, and other markets) and broadband digital distribution (supporting consumer download and streaming services for music and video).
Previously, Parker was executive vice president of International DVD Operations and Global Electronic Distribution Services for Technicolor Home Entertainment Services (THES).
In 2006, he was responsible for the creation and the worldwide launch of Technicolor Electronic Distribution Services, which includes the distribution of digital content to the home.

Parker joined the company in 1996 and has held several senior management positions over the years, including Chief Information Officer. Prior to joining the company he was a combat arms officer serving for the U.S. Army. He holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated with honors.

Dennis Quan

Dennis Quan is Director of Autonomic Computing Development, responsible for the user experience of IBM's Tivoli service management products. He launched the IBM/Google Cloud Computing partnership announced in October 2007 to empower the next generation of engineers with Cloud Computing resources and skills. Dennis was also instrumental in the creation of the IBM Blue Cloud initiative announced in November 2007, a multi-year effort spanning software, hardware, and services offerings for supporting clients' adoption of Cloud Computing technologies. His work on Cloud Computing has been widely covered in BusinessWeek, the New York Times, the journal Nature, and major trade publications. Dennis holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as degrees in Chemistry and Mathematics, also from MIT.

Jim Swartz

As chief information officer, James Swartz is responsible for all of Sybase’s worldwide systems and information technology infrastructure, allocating and managing global IT resources including data centers, applications development and telecommunications. He has been with Sybase since 2000.

Previously, Mr. Swartz worked at SRI International, where he held the position of chief information officer. Alan Wexler
